Rebuilding made-in-Europe Photovoltaic production

Digitalised pilot lines for silicon heterojunction tunnel interdigitated back contact solar cells and modules

Read more about the PILATUS project

Introduction of the project

PILATUS is a 3-year project aiming to demonstrate three digitalised pilot lines for the production in Europe of silicon wafers, solar cells, and solar modules.

PILATUS will leverage on the patented and already proven back-contacted silicon heterojunction “tunnel-IBC” technology to ensure achieving its ambitious targets as well as the expertise of the partners on analysing and characterising the PV cells and modules in- and out-doors.
