April 2023
The second General assembly of the PILATUS European project was hosted by FZU in Prague, the Czech Republic on the 3rd and 4th of April . It was held in a beautiful historical Villa Lanna and this inspiring environment led to a friendly working atmosphere.
On the first day of the meeting, the progress in technical WPs was discussed in detail. In the afternoon, all 30 participants got to know Prague as an ideal city for walks. Firstly, we went from the Lanna to the FZU facilities. At FZU, we visited mainly the characterization labs of Thin films for the photovoltaics group led by Martin Ledinsky. The new tool for back contact imaging, which is developed here in the frame of WP 4, was introduced to the consortium members. The project dinner on the boat with a spectacular view of the historical city and a visit to the typical Czech pub charged us for the second day of the meeting.
On the second day of the meeting, the advances in the non-technical WPs were presented, accompanied by a discussion on closer collaboration across all the work packages and planning on solving tasks and milestones coming in the near future.
