Parallel event Manufacturing Innovative PV technology in the EU at EUPVSEC 2024

EUPVSEC conference – parallel event Manufacturing Innovative PV Technology in the EU – Chances and Challenges

In a parallel event at the EUPVSEC-35 conference scheduled on Wednesday 25th of September, three European Innovation projects IBC4EU, PILATUS, and PEPPERONI (see also Linked Projects – PILATUS (pilatus-project.eu)) will present their approach to advancing future photovoltaic (PV) technology manufacturing in the EU. Following up on the projects’ introductory presentations, there will be a panel discussion on opportunities as well as challenges. This will include possible growth, technological advancements, and market demands, alongside cost competitiveness, supply chain dependencies, and regulatory complexities, thereby facilitating an effective exchange of knowledge.

For PILATUS, our partner MBCH will contribute in this event.
Below you will find more (preliminary) information on this parallel event entitled “Manufacturing Innovative PV Technology in the EU – Chances and Challenges:

With short introductions by the 3 projects followed by a panel discussion, the event will highlight how the future of PV technology manufacturing in the EU is being prepared for growth and innovation, driven by technological advancements, supportive policies, and increasing market demand. Attendees will gain valuable insights from expert presentations and engage in a dynamic panel discussion featuring industry leaders, PV market experts and regulatory representatives. The discussion will address current hurdles of the European PV sector, including competitiveness on the global stage, supply chain dependencies, and regulatory complexities and explore collaborative strategies necessary to establish a robust and innovative PV manufacturing foundation in Europe.
